The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Photo Hunt - Nautical
The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is Nautical. This is the best I've got - it's more riverine than the high seas...

Looks like an inshore lifeboat - they are nautical enough.
A neat little model by the look of it. I remember my father made a steam powered little boat when I was a kid.

Looks pretty adventurous, so I assume that it is not you at the helm. Ha.
But it's still "nautical" even if it's also a rubber boat! :0) My interpretation is a more commercial nautical image with a Caribbean feel.
